- Your passport photo must meet the requirements. Click here to visit an external page: . Please visit a professional photographer to have your photo taken.
- Your passport photo must be no more than 6 months old.
- You cannot have a passport photo taken at a public location.
Please note: if your passport photo does not meet the requirements, you will not be able to apply for a passport. You will need to make a new appointment.

- Please bring your old passports and ID cards, even if they have expired.
- Do you have a guardian? You need your guardian’s permission to apply for a passport. Your guardian must write a letter stating that you are permitted to apply for a passport. Be sure to bring this letter with you.

Make an appointment to apply for your passport at a municipal service center. A municipal service center is a location where the municipality has an office.
You can do this by clicking the “Make an appointment” button. Log in with DigiD.

Please go to the public service location for your appointment.
Please bring the following documents with you:- your passport photo
- your passport and ID card
- the consent of your guardian, if necessary
Fingerprints will be taken during the appointment.
