In ... we are working to create cleaner, safer, and stronger neighborhoods in ..., ... and ... – places where everyone enjoys living, working, and playing. We do this through the Neighborhood Approach. In the Neighborhood Approach, we collaborate with residents, business owners, and organizations such as the police, fire department, PreWonen, and WoonopMaat. Because they know exactly what’s going on and what’s needed in the neighborhood. And that is precisely where the strength of the Neighborhood Approach lies.
A welcoming and safe neighborhood
The Neighborhood Approach isn’t just about making the neighborhood more attractive. We also want people to enjoy living here, feel safe, and for neighbors to get to know and help one another. This takes time, because change happens step by step. That’s why we’re looking at a 20-year timeframe. But any improvements we can make right now, we’ll tackle immediately.

Transportation services under the Wmo
If no other solution can be found besides municipal assistance, you can apply for support through the Wmo. The municipality can offer various solutions for transportation-related assistance requests. For example, you can request an assistive device, such as a tricycle or a mobility scooter. Read more about this at: I need help with a physical disability.
In addition, there is the Collective Transportation service: on-demand taxi. Collective transport is intended to help you continue participating in social life and society.
